Quality Assured Electricians – Registered Competent Person Electrical

This is a Government-approved scheme (England and Wales) for domestic dwellings.

As a registered member of this scheme, it means that our domestic electrical competence has been verified and we are authorised to arrange for you to be issued with the Building Regulations Compliance Certificate.

Benville & Marsh is also a TrustMark approved contractor.

TrustMark is a not for profit organisation, licensed by Government and supported by consumer protection groups.

The aim of the TrustMark scheme is to help domestic customers find reputable and reliable firms to carry out repairs, maintenance or improvement works to their homes and gardens.

Firms that are approved to carry the TrustMark logo operate to Government endorsed standards.

The main benefits of using a TrustMark contractor include:

  • A firm’s technical skills have been independently checked through regular on-site inspections, as well as checks on their trading record and financial status
  • Firms have signed up to a code of practice that includes insurance, good health and safety practices and customer care

Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS)

Benville & Marsh is also a CHAS accredited contractor.

CHAS is a health and safety accreditation scheme for the construction industry, and often acts as a type of pre-qualification during the tender process.

The purpose of CHAS is to help both buyers and suppliers in the assessment of health and safety competence.

As an accredited contractor, it means that our health & safety policies, organisation, arrangements and records have been assessed and passed by CHAS assessors.
