Having carried out a Periodic Electrical Inspection Report, it was found the electrical installation and infrastructure upon our client’s property was generally in good condition.
Only some minor works were required to bring the property up to the latest requirements of BS7671.
A new fuse board was fitted and the earthing and bonding systems upgraded for compliance.
Following a Homebuyers Report upon the electrical installation on a property our client was interested in purchasing, it was found that the electrical installation was classified as “unsatisfactory” and required a significant amount of work to bring it up to a “satisfactory” standard.
Our client was able to renegotiate with the vendor and we completed the required work and certified the electrical installation.
Prior to building an extension – working in conjunction with the builder and the homeowner – we carried out a full electrical test upon the property.
It was established that major rewiring was required.
Working closely with the client, the property was rewired with the minimum of fuss and provisions were made for the future building works.
Working closely with the client we designed and installed a high quality installation featuring:
- Scene controlled lighting
- Data network
- Energy efficient controls
- Domestic fire alarm
